Statement of Safety

Our hearts are troubled by the wave of abuse findings in society, including churches. We want our community to know that Calvary Church is committed to providing a safe environment for all. 

Calvary proactively screens, trains, and holds accountable our staff and volunteers, particularly those in positions of trust and leadership. Calvary does not tolerate actions that violate the lives of others and obeys the Delaware law of mandatory reporting.

To survivors of abuse, we stand with you in solidarity and support. We hope to be a source and place of compassion, healing, and restoration in your journey. Calvary Church will continue to train our staff and volunteers to be trauma-informed and capable of recognizing, preventing, and responding to all forms of abuse. Furthermore, we hope to inspire other churches and organizations to proactively provide a safe and wholesome environment for people of all ages.
