Share The Joy
Share the Joy of Christmas this season by helping families in need!
You can be a part of showing the love of Christ to families this year! There are two ways the you can Share the Joy:
-
Purchase gifts from a wishlist provided by a Calvary family in need this Christmas.
This wish list includes the individual's gender, age, gift requests, and an identifying number that is used to designate the person to their gift (i.e. 2A is a 7-year-old boy who wants a bike).
Wish lists can be picked up on Sunday mornings in the main lobby.
All gifts should be brand new, wrapped, and tagged with the identifying number.
For privacy and safety reasons, the sponsor is not allowed to deliver the presents to the family.
Stop at the Share the Joy table in the main lobby to pick up a wish list or contact Andrea Bowman at abowman@calvarydover.org
All family wishlist gifts must be dropped off at the church between Sunday, December 15th and Wednesday, December 18th.
We are also taking monetary donations toward family wish lists for Share the Joy. If you would like to give toward a family, you can go to calvarydover.org/give and select Share the Joy from the Fund drop-down menu.
-
Bring in a brand new, unwrapped toy for children ages 12 and under.
All toys will be given to parents in our community in need of Christmas gifts for their children.
All gifts must be dropped off at the church by Sunday, December 15th. Drop-off bins are located in the main lobby and the Kids Church room.
For more information on both Share the Joy opportunities, contact Andrea Bowman at abowman@calvarydover.org

Senior Potluck | “America the Beautiful”
Registration for this event has closed due to reaching max capacity.
Seniors, come and join us for our next Senior Potluck on Thursday, July 11th! We'll hear an encouraging message from Tom Lighthall, sing some patriotic hymns and songs, and enjoy delicious food and fellowship together.
The potluck begins at 5:30PM in the Multi-Purpose Room. If you are bringing food to share, the drop-off time is 5PM. Please bring your food in a covered dish and provide a serving utensil.
