National Day of Prayer at Crossroad Christian Church
Thursday, May 2nd is the National Day of Prayer! Join fellow believers from across Delaware at Crossroad Christian Church in Dover to pray for our families, town, nation, and world. Pastor Ryan will be leading the gathering in prayer from 6-7pm.
This prayer night is not at Calvary Church. This will take the place of Calvary's monthly prayer night for May. You may join us for the entire time or a portion of that time as your schedule permits.

Come and learn what it’s like to be part of our church family, discover your spiritual gifts, find areas where you can serve on the Dream Team, and get a glimpse into our beliefs, values, and vision!
A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided during this event. We are also providing childcare for ages under 12 - please register your child if you would like care during this event.

Ladies Tea | "Roadmaps & Footprints"
You are invited to the Lady’s Tea on Saturday, May 18th! Join us in the Multi-Purpose Room for a delightful time of tea, refreshments, and fellowship. This event is the perfect opportunity to connect with other women in our community while enjoying meaningful conversations over a cup of tea.

PennDel Kids Camp 2024
Get ready for a week of fun at PennDel Kids Camp 2024! Kids Camp is a week-long experience at Bongiorno Conference Center for kids who have completed grades 1-6. They will enjoy fun games, learn new skills, grow friendships, and make memories - all while worshiping and learning more about God. Your child will not want to miss this exciting adventure!

A $50 deposit is due upon registration, or you can pay the full camp fee online with a credit card.
If you will only be paying the deposit at registration, the final balance due will be collected by Calvary. Your payment should be made payable to Calvary Church and be submitted to Pastor John by June 24th.
Transportation via bus to and from camp is provided through Calvary. The transportation fee is $25 and should be submitted to Pastor John via cash/check.

Hot Springs, Arkansas Trip | Domestic Missions
Have a heart for sharing the love of Christ to kids? Calvary is sending a team to Hot Springs, Arkansas to partner with Hillcrest Children's Home (a ministry of COMPACT Family Services) in August 2024! During this trip, we will be helping spruce up Hillcrest’s facilities, play games and make crafts with the children, and share the love of Christ as we serve.

About Hillcrest: Hillcrest Children’s Home rests on a 52-acre campus with 8 cottages and a 24-apartment center for foster youth preparing for adult living. They also serve children and adolescents with developmental disabilities who have been removed from abusive and neglectful circumstances.

El Salvador Trip | Global Missions
Calvary is partnering with King's Castle in El Salvador by sending down a team for a week to help reach and encourage people with the Gospel!
King's Castle was founded in 1989 with a mission to train missionaries to spread the Gospel throughout Latin America, as well as to provide other outreach programs including feeding programs, health clinics, and construction. During this trip, we will be assisting with medical missions. Medical experience is desired, but not required.

Community Outreach | Local Missions
In the Scriptures, Jesus calls us to love our neighbor and to GO into all the world and preach the gospel. Join us as we follow in Christ's footsteps by coming to our Community Outreach on March 23rd! Teams will engage with members of our community by witnessing, praying, and inviting to upcoming events at Calvary. Don't miss this great opportunity to share the love of Christ with our neighbors!
There is a mandatory team training on March 17th at 5PM in the Multi-Purpose Room prior to the event.

James and Sharon Collins will hold the Financial Peace University Class on Saturdays Beginning March 23, 2024 from 10 am-12 pm. The course is 9 weeks and will be held in the Connect Room at Calvary Church. The cost is $50 for materials which includes a Financial Peace University Workbook and Membership Gift Card. The Membership Gift Card provides one year of Financial Peace University, one year of Premium Version of EveryDollar, and Live Group Financial Coaching. Couples register together at the cost of $50 and all materials are included.

Partner Vision Night 2024
If you are a partner of Calvary Church, please save the date to attend our Partner Vision Night on Sunday, March 3rd. During this meeting, we will look back on and celebrate all that God has done throughout 2023, conduct elections for the board, and hear the vision for where God is taking us in 2024. Your presence is important to us, so please make every effort to attend!

Valentine's Day Remembrance Roses
Grieving the loss of a loved one can be a heart-wrenching and lonely experience. Would you consider partnering with Calvary to help others go through their challenging season this Valentine's Day? We will be delivering remembrance roses to those grieving, praying with them, and inviting them to join Calvary's GriefShare program for continued healing in God's love.
There are two ways you can participate:
Donate $10 towards a rose: If you know anyone who is grieving, consider having a rose sent to them. Include the recipient's name and contact information so we can deliver it!
There are only a limited amount of roses available for donation. Visit the registration page to see availability.
Donate online or at the Remembrance Roses table in the lobby. Table will be open on every Sunday in January.
Volunteer: Volunteer to drive, deliver roses and pray for recipients after services on Sunday, February 11th (starts around 12:30PM).

Water Baptism
Water Baptism is a beautiful representation of the new life we have in Jesus Christ! If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and would like to make a public declaration of that decision, we invite you to participate in our next Water Baptism after the 11am service on Sunday, January 21st.
There is a required Water Baptism Zoom Meeting prior to Baptism Sunday on Thursday, January 18th. As a result, registrations will close on this date, as well.
A Zoom link will be sent via email after registering.

Start off the New Year by spending time in the Lord’s presence with us! Join us for our first prayer night of the year on Wednesday, January 3rd in the Sanctuary.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
You and your whole family are invited to celebrate the birth of our Savior at our Christmas Eve Candlelight Services!
Services will be held on Sunday, December 24 at 9am and 11am.
Remembrance Service
The Remembrance Service is a special event to celebrate the memory of our loved ones during the holiday season when they are missed the most. You will be encouraged through songs, thoughts shared of processing loss, and discovering you are not alone on the grief journey. There will be a candlelight service where you can light a candle in honor of your loved ones; these candles will be allowed to burn completely. Light refreshments will be available in the lobby after the service. Come and share a special memory of your loved one with others.
Attendees are invited to bring a framed photograph of their loved one that is 8x10 or smaller. Arrive a few minutes before the service begins to place your photograph in the designated area.
